Surgeons, Doctors, And Other Medical Staff In Face Masks May Be More Likely To Harm Patients
Reason #118 that Face Masks Hurt Kids
Dear Reader,
The wearing of a face mask to protect against a respiratory virus is an act of grand deceit. It is a behavior that defies research on the topic. Wearing a face mask, as this article (one of many) points to — is unsafe to do and is ineffective.
Until the narrative around mandatory masking has changed, each day by 6am Eastern, I will both post here and send out a science-based reason why no one should wear a face mask.
I ask that you help me circulate these pieces to those around you who you believe could most benefit from them. It is important not to remain silent on this topic. These are important discussions to be having with friends, family members, business owners, healthcare practitioners, public servants, and others in the community.

Harm to patients caused by medical care, or iatrogenic harm, is believed by some to be the third leading cause of death in the United States.1 The Hippocratic Oath, the foundation of medical ethics insists medical professionals “do no harm.” While the Hippocratic Oath is not taken by all doctors and is considered dated by some, it still forms the foundation of medical ethics dating back at least twenty-five hundred years.
There are many stressors upon practitioners in the medical system that make it more likely that an individual patient will suffer harm.
Additional stressors are not needed and especially with such specious evidence supporting their efficacy. Face masks are such a stressor. Before further masking of personnel in hospitals is continued, the risk-benefit profile must be updated with an honest conversation.
Until that is done, I will not be treated by a medical professional in a mask and I encourage the same high standard for you and your family.
As Maximos Fountzas writes in the article “Personal protective equipment against Covid-19: Vital for surgeons, harmful for patients?:”2
“Either in the case of a second lockdown or not, the safety of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use against Covid-19 for surgeons should be investigated. All parts of PPE increase surgeon's body temperature and sweating, leading to an impairment of surgeon's comfort, especially during prolonged and complicated surgical procedures. As mentioned above, PPE seems to be associated with important side effects, like dermatoses and headaches for healthcare workers. The PPE-associated discomfort and side effects during surgery may increase surgeons' anxiety and fatigue while performing difficult operations.”
Are we to lie to ourselves and pretend that surgeons are some type of superhuman exempt from the same cognitive decline of mask wearing measured in others in the population? To do so would be foolish. Are we to pretend doctors, nurses, and other personnel do not experience the same cognitive decline while wearing a face mask?
A long history of medical research exists around the topic of keeping surgeons at the top of their game in order to create a safe environment for patients. Many of the same principles apply to other professionals in order to keep them at the top of their game for the wellbeing of the individual patient.
Universal masking must come to an immediate end, especially in hospitals, until further research has been conducted to properly assess the risk and benefit of this practice on the outcome of individual patients.

The bestselling book "Face Masks In One Lesson" by Allan Stevo describes how to never wear a face mask again. The follow-up to the book, "Face Masks Hurt Kids," describes why to never wear a face mask again. We must defeat the awful, narrative around the mandates.
Examples of how face masks hurt kids will be posted to the Lockdown Land Substack each morning by 6am Eastern until the narrative around this ineffective and harmful medical intervention has shifted. Face masks are, in fact, not just harmful to children. Face masks are harmful to everyone. Thank you so much for helping me circulate this research.
