Let me tell you a story.
Some guy moves from California to Arizona.
Nothing special there — About 64,000 Californians a year do exactly that.
But then the guy stood out from the 64,000. He said “I’m going to get involved in the next election. They aren’t going to turn Arizona into California on my watch.”
A little more special, but still something that many thousands of people say and do.
He said, “I’m going to spend my Election Day going from polling places to polling place.”
Now it’s getting a little more special. As you know, I strongly encourage every person on this planet to take off of work on Election Day and to spend the entire day involved in the election process in some way. Doing so is a path toward stopping the steal in your local community. It is not perfect, but it is a start.
So now this guy is one of only 18 or so people in his county, Maricopa County, Arizona, who got together and said “Together, we will step foot in every single polling place today and make sure that we have a complete idea of what is going on.”
The 18 of them had total coverage of the polling places in the county.
That’s a pretty important thing to have happen and speaks volumes about the level of involvement of a community.
So far, this is all pretty promising and these are important steps.
And then Mark Sonnenklar did something truly special that people seldom do. And he did it about a particularly important place — Maricopa County, Arizona. On his own volition, he reached out to the other 17 or so attorneys and asked to compare notes. Only 10 could be bothered to do so. Every group has those other 7. Every group. They always have some kind of reason to not take seriously the historically important moment they are in.
Mark Sonnenklar, on his own accord, put together a 23-page report on election improprieties he witnessed and that others in his group witnessed.
I would like to recommend that report (or at least the 3/4 page executive summary) if election integrity is important to you. It can be found here.
Now I want to take that a step further. I don’t just want you to read that report. I want you to go to 10 or 15 polling places in your community and your county next election and to duplicate that report.
Before you go read through your local election laws. (Will take about 60-90 minutes). Ask your county clerk for the poll worker training material. (Will again take about 60-90 minutes to read). Do that and you will be one of the most educated people in your county on the electors process and will be very qualified to identify impropriety. Then you send your report to the election officials and political party heads in the county and state. And will anyone read what you write? I don’t know. The thing is, you will grow by doing this and at the same time, the vote in your community will become a little harder to steal.
This is very powerful stuff that he did and that any person can do with just 12 or so hours on Election Day. But most will not. Most talk a big game about how important the vote is but most just sit at home watching TV and YouTube, which is exactly where the opponent would like you — well-fed, comfortable, impotent, and entertained.
Don’t be that person, especially not on Election Day. On Election Day, be involved in the election from 60 minutes before the polling places open until 60 minutes after the last vote has been counted that night and everyone heads home.
Do that and you will singlehandedly make your community a better place in concrete ways that neither you or I can entirely predict. I have, however, seen enough elections firsthand, in many states and countries, to know that behavior like this can resonate mightily through a community when done and followed through with.
Now I’m going to add a detail. It’s an important detail to most people, but for everything I’ve here written it is in fact irrelevant.
Mark Sonnenklar is a lawyer.
That will automatically get some people to say “Oh, he’s a lawyer, that’s why he did that. I can’t do this.”
There are people who are forever on the lookout for an excuse. Don’t be that person. Most lawyers are schlubs. I should know. I’ve known hundreds of them in my life, maybe thousands. Nothing impressive about 9 out of 10 lawyers. But there is that one out of ten who can have potential to be a real gem. And there’s maybe 1 in 100 who actually does the work to turns into that gem.
The same is true with a lot of people. Most people don’t take life and their potential seriously. Most people just screw around with the opportunities they have. Lawyer or not, Mark Sonnenklar said he was going to protect the vote that day in his little corner of Arizona.
You, too, can have that level of influence. It doesn’t take anything earth shaking to have massive influence. So few people are involved in their election that very minor involvement and documentation can have outsized impact. In fact, the same is true in many areas of life.
You may be imperfect at what needs to be done. You may be inexpert at what needs to be done. Do not let that stop you. Just make it happen, just like Mark Sonnenklar has done.
Welcome to Arizona, Mark! The 2022 election in Arizona was stolen.
Kari Lake will fight to the end. Please support Kari, Abe and Mark with your wallet.
I am a McCain Stain Fighter since 2012 using Dan Shultz Precinct Strategy as an elected Republican precinct committeeman. America First Warriors at the grassroots level are taking back Pima County, AZ with Biblical principles.
I came from CA to AZ in Mar 2021, became a GOP precinct committeeman in Dec 2021, a poll observer for the Aug 2022 primary, and was poll worker on Nov 8. I knocked on over 500 doors for candidates in Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Anthem.
Election Day was a disaster from the opening bell. I was a check-in clerk but was located about 10 feet away from the two tabulators. I saw that regardless of the ballot feed orientation, a good 80 percent of ballots were misreads. This lasted all day with one brief (30 minute) period wherein most ballots were successfully read. We had 3 hour lines all day long. Many gave up and walked out. Who knows how many never even tried upon seeing the long lines? At another polling location my wife stood in line over two hours. Poll workers there were sending voters to other locations. The last voter did not leave our polling place until 9:45 PM.
I appreciate what Mark and his team attempted to do, but the Maricopa County clearly wants the voting process to be an SNAFU, FUBAR, impenetrable mess. I volunteered to take the ballots and other materials to a collection point. Given the way the stuff was quickly taken from my trunk to the truck's trailer it was impossible for me to see how the chain of custody could have been maintained.
Frankly, Maricopa County power brokers (Democrat, GOPe, and judicial) have no intent of letting the great unwashed select their own elected officials. Hobbs is corrupt. Fontes is corrupt. Mayes is corrupt, but just as importantly so are Ducey, Brnovich, Gates, Richer and the rest of the McCain RINO party. This year's election theft was so in your face that it is obvious that they have zero fear of being held to account.
