It’s 25 days until the election. How many votes do you need to win?
Getting at a ballpark number is simple enough. Yet for whatever reason (usually a lack of knowledge or a lack of discipline) few campaigns, even at this late stage in the election, know how many votes it will take to win.
In fact, I don’t just expect a candidate to know something so fundamental. I expect that number to be on his bathroom mirror. I expect that number to be his phone background. I expect that number to be constantly on his mind and on the mind of those seriously involved in his campaign.
Anything less promises that the campaign is mired in distraction, woefully amiss at reaching their target, even with unlimited budget and unlimited time.
It’s almost a guarantee, since the focus on that campaign is somewhere else.
And your number might be a very big number and the hour might be so very late.
Take heart, it is not too late to reach 100 additional voters, to reach 1,000 additional voters, or even to reach 100,000 additional voters, but sudden maneuvers are needed.
A lack of knowledge or a lack of discipline, are often intricately connected in campaigns. I want to help you avoid both of them and to combat them head-on when they emerge.
I don’t want you to just do well. I want you to win. I want you to be a positive political influence for your entire life and beyond.
The only question then is this — do you want to win? Or are you just wasting everyone’s time?
As blunt as that question may sound, it's what it comes down to. If you don't win, you have wasted a lot of people's time. There are a lot of nice things that one can do as a candidate, but the number one thing needed of you is to be focussed on winning. You need to win. People are counting on you to do everything you can to win. They are counting on you not to waste their time.
Let me help you win.
