It’s Your Job To Help Bring Society Back Into Line
And That’s Not Just About Face Masks — How To Say “No!” To The Pronoun Ninnies
I’ve long spoken about the importance of saying “No!” to the face mask, how it ripples far beyond being just a biologically harmful breathing obstruction. It means so much more.
Among other things — It is a lie
And correspondingly you ability to say “No!” to it means so much more.
It’s not just important to not wear it, it’s important to call that lie out wherever it surfaces in your midst, for people to know that you won’t put up with their lies, that they are going to have to choice to either stop lying or to be very uncomfortable when you come around.
Contemporary American culture is filled with lies. That is a problem for many reasons. To latch on to the most basic reason, a reason that doesn’t take a man of great honor to recognize — it’s ones job in life to know reality intimately and to live in it.
If everyone around you is lying, you are almost guaranteed to fail in life. You have no ability to interact with reality, to separate truth from fiction. A country full of people doing that is not well positioned, even if it is the current world super power.
History is littered with the graveyard of fallen empires.
From this very basic, utilitarian perspective, you do everyone around you a favor when you tell them to stop lying.
In the image above, a man wrote me on social media to talk about a company he owns. I was interested. But then I saw something. Then I wasn't interested. It was the pronouns next to his name.
Last Friday, a very diligent government employee sent me some public records. We reviewed them during our Project Accountability meeting. I was very pleased about the work from this woman and the correspondence. But then I realized something. And I then had no interest in working with her again. She had pronouns after her name.
I closed my email to her with the following.
You never know how these things will end up. The main thing is that you speak the truth.
If I’ve learned anything from requesting and reading many thousands of pages of public records request, it is this. Public officials and bureaucrats constantly bend to the slightest amount of pushback. They put on a facade and act like they are ignoring you, but that’s not what is happening at all. They are freaking out. They are thinking how to get off the hot seat. They are wondering how to make it stop. A single comment is enough to give them pause for concern, enough to get them to think twice nicer time.
It’s amazing how incredibly weak they are. Yet it’s surprising how incredibly immovable most people seem to think they are, to the point of many saying “It’s just not worth it to even try.”
And that’s not just the bureaucrats and public officials who act that way. It’s every human.
Very few people want more resistance, pressure, and pushback in life. It is your job to provide it, only in the direction of goodness. As someone who sees the lies for what they are, it is your job to provide that pushback.
It is not a blue ribbon panel who will decide how and when this nonsense comes to an end. It is people like you and like me.
Day-by-day, it is your job to be a truth teller, everywhere you go, all the time, anywhere you see lies.
