As I write in my book, The Case for Robert Kennedy, one of the most shameful things Trump did was to promise a vaccine safety commission in 2015 and 2016, only to balk on that in 2017.
Robert Kennedy is running, partly, to alleviate that serious betrayal that Donald Trump paid to all Americans.
Today, June 6, 2023, President Trump announced in the following video that he would hold a vaccine safety commission.
I love President Trump, but this is the one thing I’m not sure I can trust him on. He made this same promise of a vaccine safety commission in 2015 and 2016 to parents of autistic kids and then killed the idea in 2017. The Internet does not seem to remember this detail.
He even had Robert Kennedy to Trump Tower to address the issue and ostensibly start the commission. Today’s announcement needed more — it needed Trump explaining what happened last time and why he won’t let it happen again.
As I predicted, Kennedy would help to push Trump in a good direction, as Kennedy gains momentum and Trump loses his primary base, a primary base that believes candidate Trump has the Republican primary wrapped up. I look forward to Trump and Kennedy facing off in the general election in the autumn of 2024, but Trump cannot just run the general election against Kennedy. He must also run the primary against Kennedy.
Kenney is the only candidate from either party who can seriously pull Trump’s base away from Trump and Kennedy can pull those votes in both the primaries and the general. A bunch of deep state stooges are facing off with Trump. They generally push him in a bad direction. Kennedy is the only candidate pushing him in a good direction — the direction that represents the interests of the American dinner table.

I’ve listened to the video twice. He calls out big pHarma, yes, but he does not explicitly call this a vaccine safety commission.
It’s all too easy to blame contaminated food, water, and air - all of which are indeed critically important and are contributing to our ill health. In kids and adults. However, the very biggest contributor are the childhood vaccines. A commission not specifically tasked to look at those is not likely to find them as a problem.
If he does not directly address the vaccines, the vaccine issue will be kept under the rug. Disease will be blamed on inequities, climate change, and other socialist diversions. Perhaps the role of food and water (glyphosate, arsenic, nutrient depletion) and air will be acknowledged. And this would be helpful. But it will neatly sidestep the vaccines.
People will be told that the problem is them. If they just “lived healthier lifestyles,” they would need fewer of the unfortunately necessary but sometimes bearing side effects pharmaceuticals. We already see this with heart disease. People are blamed for not exercising enough or eating correctly, and thus, lamentably, needing cholesterol meds and high blood pressure meds. Rarely are people told that the current dietary guidelines actually MAKE THEM INSULIN RESISTANT AND HYPERTENSIVE, leading them to the heart disease that The Guidelines are supposedly protecting them from.
It’s nice, I guess, that he is dipping his pinky toe in the water. But he needs to step in boldly like RFKJ and like, to some extent, DeSantis is doing. Keep up the pressure.
Great insight Allan, I too have been wondering why Trump hasn't addressed the lockdowns, how the vaccine doesn't work, and finally, the vaccine injured which continues to mount worldwide.
