During the interview, he used the term, “the ritual muzzle of shame.”
He was, of course, speaking about the face mask.
When you look at the mask it has an almost ritualistic purpose in our society. It clearly isn’t about science. It clearly isn’t about safety.
Instead, it is about showing that you agree, that you are agreeable, that you fit in, that you comply, that you will go along with a lie — no matter how big the lie, no matter how vile the lie.
Yes, the face mask is a ritual.
Bryan and I had a fantastic conversation, and I would like to welcome you over to his podcast page to give it a listen.
In the same interview, he used the term “inbound information stream,” to talk about so much information constantly coming in that you are unable to properly grasp the truth in the midst of the magnitude and are ultimately left discouraged or even demoralized.
This came up as I described the purpose of Face Masks Hurt Kids. I created it as a reference book that is meant to allow, you, the reader to easily organize all the hundreds of headlines and studies on face mask dangers that you may have come across since the Ides of March 2020.
Massive inbound information stream or not, you get to be in control of how you engage with the world around you. No matter how crazy or dramatic things get, you can keep stable, encouraged, and of a beneficial mindset, by just keeping your focus on your values.
You get to lead the world around you if you so choose.

Unfortunately, I cannot access the interview. I have tried multiple times from all the links and it will not play, no matter what. It does not appear to be a problem with my phone.
Is it possible for you to please publish the transcript of the interview? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Catherine
