Dear Reader,
The wearing of a face mask to protect against a respiratory virus is an act of grand deceit. It is a behavior that defies research on the topic. Wearing a face mask, as this article (one of many) points to — is unsafe to do and is ineffective.
Until the narrative around mandatory masking has changed, each day by 6am Eastern, I will both post here and send out a science-based reason why no one should wear a face mask.
I ask that you help me circulate these pieces to those around you who you believe could most benefit from them. It is important not to remain silent on this topic. These are important discussions to be having with friends, family members, business owners, healthcare practitioners, public servants, and others in the community.

The mother of a child who reads lips, wrote me elaborating on how we all read lips:
Dear Mr. Stevo
As a mother of vaccine injured deaf and autistic adult son, I am intimately familiar with the subject.
But I can also assure you — most people hear with their eyes!
Especially children — they cannot learn language properly if they do not watch articulation and facial expression.
Do you remember The West Wing? I understood pretty much everything, but I know many Americans, native English speakers, who have a hard time understanding the dialogues because Aaron Sorkin loves "walking while talking."
Face diapers are monuments of insanity, and those who do not understand the maskholes are not always kidding. That is the reason you should always face the hard of hearing person when speaking to him/her. This is also the reason for mistakes and misunderstandings in the operating room, and no amount of acoustical treatment could remedy this problem.
In some states, there are exemptions from mask wearing requirements for people who communicate with the deaf and hard of hearing.
But it is a real tragedy that so many people comply, and I commend you for your continuous attention to the matter.
Best regards
Irena Stepanova
While this may not need stating to many observant parents, this mother states the case so well of how we all use lip reading to communicate.
When a room grows loud, it is normal for people to stare at lips. When a person speaks a different native language than you, it is normal for you to look at that person’s lips to understand better. The normal communication of life, once taken for granted, has become so difficult, as everything from food orders to car orders are now flubbed purely because of a face mask being involved in the exchange.
This is another reason masks should be worn by no one.
How arrogant of public health officials to suggest a 10-cent polypropylene mask from Wuhan could improve upon millennia of strategies for continued human existence and that only through a mandate would anyone want to wear this allegedly helpful device.
The bestselling book "Face Masks In One Lesson" by Allan Stevo describes how to never wear a face mask again. The follow-up to the book, "Face Masks Hurt Kids," describes why to never wear a face mask again. We must defeat the awful, narrative around the mandates.
Examples of how face masks hurt kids will be posted to the Lockdown Land Substack each morning by 6am Eastern until the narrative around this ineffective and harmful medical intervention has shifted. Face masks are, in fact, not just harmful to children. Face masks are harmful to everyone. Thank you so much for helping me circulate this research.
I had already suspected that most people did so because, even before I took an online course on lip reading (because I have 50% hearing at best), I know that I did. I tried to get formal training on it and it is very difficult beyond what is done naturally anyway.
Hollywood movies make it seem like someone can zoom in with a telescope and transcribe a conversation. I don't think that's possible but it really seems as though everyone uses nonverbal communication while speaking to a greater extent than most people realize.
I mean everything too! Not just lips. Facial expressions, hand/arm gestures, body posture, etc. But when you forcibly remove lips and most of the face, you are absolutely removing a great deal of what is being communicated. And that's apart from soft-spoken or mumbly people being further muffled!
I already know that masks are completely stupid and ineffective before having to endure the restricted communication and I'm already starting at a huge disadvantage. It just bugs the shit out of me. The people that want it and demand it are so freaking stupid!
And they're trying hard to bring back this absolute madness. I really think a lot of people are kind of insane. I'm not being hyperbolic.
