When Dr. Oz did me dirty
It was a Valentine’s Day special being filmed on the Oz Show, and a real hero of the American heartland was looking like the presidential front-runner.
This was in the days before Donald Trump.
The game was different then.
All the big dirties were getting ready to turn on this presidential hopeful. He was not for sale, and some felt he didn’t play the insider game well enough to be allowed in the White House.
I was on his advance team that day.
I am happy to report, I was not the one who scheduled what took place next. But when you do one member of a team dirty, you do that whole team dirty.
Dr. Oz invited this hero of the American heartland on his show to talk about the charitable roles he played and continues to play in third world countries, which is how that public official has spent his Easter break for years — fixing the eyes of blind children in remote areas of the third world, so that they may again see.
That’s what Oz said they would talk about.
Well, he goes out there on stage and the next thing you know, there is never any mention of orphans in the third world. Instead, Oz plays a recording of how the candidate wants more Americans to lose weight. The video is cut just the right way to get maximum effect.
Doctor Oz works up the crowd and they really give it to him.
This kind man is being painted as a FAT-SHAMER. This kind man is being painted as WAGING A WAR ON WOMEN. It goes on and on.
I am backstage, and at this point, I can hardly believe what I am hearing.
So, I look out there, and I recognize that this audience appears to be more corpulent than average for New York City. Even that part of this whole setup had been staged. Did they fly these angry women in from somewhere else for the Valentine’s special? Are they hired audience members from Craigslist bused in from New Jersey?
The raging endomorphs did not match the ectomorph Oz, but boy were they buying what he was selling from stage that day.
Aside from the obviously deceitful assurances from Dr. Oz and his team, something did not seem right with the picture. There had clearly been many steps to this plan to corner and smear that hero of the heartland.
Fast-forward to 2020, when doctors, operating like hitmen with an agenda, came after the kids, the elderly, the infirm, and anyone they could get their hands on. It was hardly believable.
But that did not stop it from happening.
Nor does that stop it from continuing to happen… to … this ... day.
You may be continuing to see doctors in masks. I would like you to stop it by asking them to unmask when they are with you, or by even choosing to go to another doctor.
You may be continuing to send your kids to teachers in masks. I would like you to stop it by asking them to unmask, or by sending your kids elsewhere to be educated.
You may be continuing to go to grocery stores with employees in masks. I would like you to stop it by asking them to unmask when you speak to them, or by going elsewhere.
Just walking away can have some power to it. But walking away after a calm, clear conversation about why they are still masked seems to mean a lot more. Others do nothing of the sort, instead going so far as to taunt the masked.
Pretending the psychosis is normal has to end.
If you do not have the ready ammunition for that kind of conversation, I have it here for you: Face Masks Hurt Kids.
It is a book with simple, clear ammunition that will not take you more than 20 minutes to get the powerful points you need.
Combine that with a willingness to ask some hard questions and to courageously say “No!”and you are in for a treat
