Dear Reader,
The wearing of a face mask to protect against a respiratory virus is an act of grand deceit. It is a behavior that defies research on the topic. Wearing a face mask, as this article (one of many) points to — is unsafe to do and is ineffective.
Until the narrative around mandatory masking has changed, each day by 6am Eastern, I will both post here and send out a science-based reason why no one should wear a face mask.
I ask that you help me circulate these pieces to those around you who you believe could most benefit from them. It is important not to remain silent on this topic. These are important discussions to be having with friends, family members, business owners, healthcare practitioners, public servants, and others in the community.

Are you going to be flexible or strong?
The goal is not “to break” a child, like one breaks a horse. The goal is not to train a child, the way one trains a dog. The goal is not to “harness” a child, the way one does to a wild falcon.
These methods — in which the person with the right commands and a handful of food are able to step in and be the nearly interchangeable master to that animal — may be fitting for an animal, but they are not fitting for a human.
The goal is to teach a child to be obedient to, or cooperative with, the right people — to parents and others who exhibit virtue — and to be supremely uncooperative with all others.
Children, as early as possible in life, need to know to be supremely uncooperative with even those trusted few, even their parents, when they go outside of the bounds of virtue.
This is an important crux. This is an important distinction between raising someone obedient to all authority, or raising someone obedient to his examined values.
I do not, for a moment, pretend this is easy. Nor do I pretend it is the way of the world, but training an adult to be an obedient sheep begins at birth, just like allowing a child to grow into a courageous lion of virtue begins at birth.
I very intentionally use the word “allow.”
At an early age, preverbal, a child knows how to identify virtue and challenge its inconsistent application. I have no question when allowed to grow into a lion of virtue, many children will do exactly that. On the other hand, to grow into an obedient sheep takes training.
It is worth noting that some people in your child’s life do not want your child to be a lion. It makes that person’s life harder. That person does not want it for your child now, and that person does not want it for your child later. One of the most fundamental measures of how well a person honors freedom is if he can lead free people. Few school teachers can. They seek to break your child as they break a horse. Few bosses can. Few political leaders can. So many want to lead the obedient and compliant. To lead a free man they say is like “herding cats.”
In reality, it is like herding lions. Lions do not need to be herded by you, they do not want to be herded by you, and may react quite ferociously if they sense you trying to herd them.
Those weak souls used to herding sheep should NEVER be left alone with a child. The inevitable outcome is that they will seek to “break” the child.
If the child ever recovers, many unhappy years will be spent trying to find the lion cub that once grew in him.
Yes, I truly mean “allowing a child to grow into a courageous lion of virtue begins at birth.”
So much of modernity seeks to disallow this.
The intent is not to let a child run wild. That is a great evil committed against that child. The intent is not to submit a child to obedience. That, too, is a great evil committed against that child. The intent is to teach a child to know and love virtue and to voraciously and fearlessly oppose its opposite. That is the heart of wisdom. That is the kernel of adulthood.
Age does not qualify one as a man. Youth does not disqualify one from being a man. To be a man, more is needed than mere age or biology.
No obedient sheep is a man.
Yet, some thirteen-year-old lions are men.
The bestselling book "Face Masks In One Lesson" by Allan Stevo describes how to never wear a face mask again. The follow-up to the book, "Face Masks Hurt Kids," describes why to never wear a face mask again. We must defeat the awful, narrative around the mandates.
Examples of how face masks hurt kids will be posted to the Lockdown Land Substack each morning by 6am Eastern until the narrative around this ineffective and harmful medical intervention has shifted. Face masks are, in fact, not just harmful to children. Face masks are harmful to everyone. Thank you so much for helping me circulate this research.
