Face Masks Harm Teeth And Gums And Cause A Condition Known As “Mask Mouth”
Reason #159 that Face Masks Hurt Kids
Dear Reader,
The wearing of a face mask to protect against a respiratory virus is an act of grand deceit. It is a behavior that defies research on the topic. Wearing a face mask, as this article (one of many) points to — is unsafe to do and is ineffective.
Until the narrative around mandatory masking has changed, each day by 6am Eastern, I will both post here and send out a science-based reason why no one should wear a face mask.
I ask that you help me circulate these pieces to those around you who you believe could most benefit from them. It is important not to remain silent on this topic. These are important discussions to be having with friends, family members, business owners, healthcare practitioners, public servants, and others in the community.

The mouth is a difficult body part to make sense of. Why does a child in the remote Atlas Mountains of Morroco, who has never seen a dentist, have better teeth than his peer in Cupertino, California, who has seen a dentist with the most high tech tools at his disposal, twice each year for the last 12 years?
Researcher and dentist, Weston Price, linked the difference to diet: a Western diet rots the teeth and leads to a deformed face and teeth, while a traditional diet leads to dental and cranial health.
Teeth may be early indicators of the health of other parts of the body.
Even after decades of this intuitive work by Price and others of a similar perspective, the dental profession is no closer to adopting these ideas. Superficiality reigns supreme and the importance of the mouth as little more than an inconvenience is seldom considered.
As with many other health considerations, the mouth is an early indication of the harm being done to the body by mandatory masking. Masks are devastating to oral health.
Vernon Coleman writes in the January 11, 2021 article: “Masks And Mask Wearing: 100 Facts You Must Know:”
“Two dentists in New York have reported seeing a number of patients with inflamed gums and other problems. The news story was reported in the New York Post. ‘We are seeing inflammation in people’s gums that have been healthy forever, and cavities in people who have never had them before,’ said dentist Rob Ramondi. ‘About 50% of our patients are being impacted by this, (so) we decided to name it ‘mask mouth’.’ Another dentist, Marc Sclafani, told the New York Post that ‘gum disease, or periodontal disease, will eventually lead to strokes and an increased risk of heart attacks.’ The dentists said that the problem is caused by the fact that face coverings increase mouth dryness and contribute to a build-up of bad bacteria. ‘People tend to breathe through their mouth instead of through their nose while wearing a mask,’ said Sclafani. ‘The mouth breathing is causing the dry mouth, which leads to a decrease in saliva — and saliva is what fights the bacteria and cleanses your teeth.’” 1
The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons concurs:
“Wearing masks increases dryness, which leads to decrease in saliva. It is the saliva that fights bacteria. Result is decaying teeth, receding gum lines and seriously sour breath. Gum disease — or periodontal disease — will eventually lead to strokes and an increased risk of heart attacks.”2
Wearing a face mask even harms the teeth and gums, two parts of the body that are indicators of overall health of the body.3,4,5

The bestselling book "Face Masks In One Lesson" by Allan Stevo describes how to never wear a face mask again. The follow-up to the book, "Face Masks Hurt Kids," describes why to never wear a face mask again. We must defeat the awful, narrative around the mandates.
Examples of how face masks hurt kids will be posted to the Lockdown Land Substack each morning by 6am Eastern until the narrative around this ineffective and harmful medical intervention has shifted. Face masks are, in fact, not just harmful to children. Face masks are harmful to everyone. Thank you so much for helping me circulate this research.
