OSHA Considers The Micro-Environment Of Face Masks As “Not Safe For Workers”
Reason #136 that Face Masks Hurt Kids
Dear Reader,
The wearing of a face mask to protect against a respiratory virus is an act of grand deceit. It is a behavior that defies research on the topic. Wearing a face mask, as this article (one of many) points to — is unsafe to do and is ineffective.
Until the narrative around mandatory masking has changed, each day by 6am Eastern, I will both post here and send out a science-based reason why no one should wear a face mask.
I ask that you help me circulate these pieces to those around you who you believe could most benefit from them. It is important not to remain silent on this topic. These are important discussions to be having with friends, family members, business owners, healthcare practitioners, public servants, and others in the community.

Breathing oxygen allows us to live. Even minor changes to the amount of oxygen we breathe can have powerful impacts on the body. Inside a face mask, there are pockets of reduced oxygen, despite the presence of a healthy amount of oxygen outside of that mask. Breathing through a face mask may, therefore, be harmful because of reduced oxygen. It may be harmful over the short-term as well as the long-term. In the article “Masks, false safety and real dangers, Part 1: Friable mask particulate and lung vulnerability,” Boris Borovoy et al. write:1
“Optimal oxygen intake in humans has been calculated in the absence of any obstruction to the airways. The US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has determined that the optimal range of oxygen in the air for humans is between 19.5 and 23.5%. In previous times, before the Covid-19 era OSHA required that any human-occupied airspace where oxygen measured less than 19.5% to be labelled as ‘not safe for workers.’2
“The percentage of oxygen inside a masked airspace generally measures 17.4% within several seconds of wearing. It has been observed that maximal voluntary ventilation and maximal inspiratory pressure increase during lower availability of oxygen at ascent in altitude,3 as well as for those who live at high altitude.4 Because oxygen is so essential to life, and in adequate amounts, humans and animals have developed the ability to sense changes in oxygen concentration, and to adapt to such challenges quickly. The medulla oblongata and carotid bodies are sensitive to such changes. Both lower ambient oxygen and increased ambient carbon dioxide stimulates ventilation, as the body quickly and steadfastly attempts to acquire more oxygen.5 As a compensatory mechanism, inspiratory flow is measurably higher in mask-wearers than in controls.”6
A great unanswered question of 2020 and beyond has been “Why has OSHA been so silent on masks?”
They have stringently regulated masks in the past. They knew exactly how harmful the masks were. They were willing to destroy small businesses in the past over nearly nothing. Now there is something important for OSHA to chime in about, an area of expertize for that government body, in fact. Yet this organization that exists allegedly to protect workers has been nearly silent on the topic of face masks on all workers and face masks on the general population.
As Congressman Thomas Massie has pointed out:
“The cloth mask is the only piece of government mandated medical equipment or safety gear for which there is no specification or certification.”7
If any entity was prepared to present a case on what a supremely bad idea this was, it would be OSHA. Did they? Nope. Add that to a list of institutions that failed the American people and all people in 2020 and beyond. The best we have are some whistleblowers risking their lives and livelihoods to step forward and say how criminal this has all been. This is not just institutional failure. This is systemic failure.

The bestselling book "Face Masks In One Lesson" by Allan Stevo describes how to never wear a face mask again. The follow-up to the book, "Face Masks Hurt Kids," describes why to never wear a face mask again. We must defeat the awful, narrative around the mandates.
Examples of how face masks hurt kids will be posted to the Lockdown Land Substack each morning by 6am Eastern until the narrative around this ineffective and harmful medical intervention has shifted. Face masks are, in fact, not just harmful to children. Face masks are harmful to everyone. Thank you so much for helping me circulate this research.
