The Rationale “Comply Or Else” Is Such A Monstrously Bad Rationale, Whenever It Is Used, That It Should Always Trigger A Lack Of Compliance
Reason #14 that Face Masks Hurt Kids
Dear Reader,
The wearing of a face mask to protect against a respiratory virus is an act of grand deceit. It is a behavior that deifies research on the topic. Wearing a face mask, as this article (one of many) points to — is unsafe to do and is ineffective.
Until the narrative around mandatory masking has changed, each day by 6am Eastern, I will both post here and send out a science-based reason why no one should wear a face mask.
I ask that you help me circulate these pieces to those around you who you believe could most benefit from them. It is important not to remain silent on this topic. These are important discussions to be having with friends, family members, business owners, healthcare practitioners, public servants, and others in the community.

When it comes to face masks, virtually any consideration of the risk to your child versus the reward is entirely discouraged. Any parent being discouraged from asking this question is being consequently reminded how important that question is and how untrustworthy anyone who can give such orders should be considered.
As Boris Borovoy et al. write, in the October 2020 paper “Microbial challenges from masks,”1 the harm of masks had been very lightly researched. This lack of research prior to mandating masking is significant, especially given the known harm that was already understood to be possible. Borovoy writes:
“In this paper, the second in our series, we continue our examination of the potential hazards of masks, in which we now turn attention to microbial contamination from masks and mask use, changes in oral and nasal microbiota, and potential risks to the lungs and other organ systems from microbial factors. Because widespread masking is a very new societywide experiment, the impact of this experiment, the obstruction of airways from free breathing and a typical air exchange interplay with oral microbiota is not yet known. Furthermore, the effects of such changes in the lungs and beyond are not yet known. This paper will explore some considerations of these changes, by examining mask effectiveness against transmission, historical evidence of epidemiology from the 1918-1919 pandemic, microbial contamination, respiratory disease and the role of oral bacteria in systemic disease; and infections involving fungi, yeast, and molds. Compiling statistical and scientific evidence from these subjects alone should help equip any individual with adequate information on risks and benefits when choosing whether to wear a mask.”
Masks do not work and are harmful to yourself and others when you wear them. The evidence for that is so apparent. For anyone to attempt to silence the transmission of that evidence, let alone silence the asking of basic questions on the topic is such a red flag that should, on its face, trigger a disinterest in complying. Borovoy writes:
“Masks have been shown through overwhelming clinical evidence to have no effect against transmission of viral pathogens.2 Penetration of cloth masks by viral particles was almost 97% and of surgical masks was 44%.3 Even bacteria, approximately ten times the volume of corona viruses, have been poorly impeded by both cloth masks and disposable surgical masks. Face masks became almost ineffective after two hours of use, and after 150 minutes of use, more bacteria was emitted through the disposable mask than from the same subject unmasked.4 One must wonder, if new masks worn by healthcare workers, that are soiled by wear during a work shift, transmit more bacteria to patients than from an unmasked healthcare worker, then what is happening to the lungs of the mask-wearer?”
How could such data not be headline news? How could such data instead be enough to cause the bearer of such information to be banned, seen as a social, political, and professional pariah? Borovoy continues with such inconvenient truths, pointing to the fact that even among healthcare workers masks hardly make sense:
“Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) has long been debated for healthcare workers regarding their interactions with patients who are carrying highly pathogenic organ isms, and this study found about half of even trained healthcare workers in clinical settings make at least one protocol deviation in donning and doffing PPE.5 Certainly the general public without such training is likely to have a higher rate of similar or more egregious errors in PPE protocol. Masks have been determined to be unnecessary even in surgical settings, and of no benefit in preventing infections.6 In fact, ‘The rate of wound infections [while unmasked] was less than half what it was when everyone wore masks.’ Oral microbial flora dispersed by unmasked healthcare workers standing one meter from the workspace failed to contaminate exposed plates on that surface.7
“Let us also examine the entire surface area of the masked person when considering that person’s potential for transmitting pathogens. Face masks generally only cover the lower half of the face, which we know from studying burn victims is less than 2% of the entire body surface area.8 We know that numbers of airborne bacteria expelled from the upper airway are insignificantly small compared with the volume of bacteria shed from the skin.9 The shed from the skin of mask wearers was found to create more contamination than from non-mask wearers, presumably due to shifting, wiggling and increased rubbing and exfoliation.”10 11
Why was “comply or else” so frequently the mandate of 2020 and beyond? Because if anyone gave a person like Boris Borovoy ten minutes in the mainstream each night, the fear-fueled pandemic would be over more quickly than it began, the harmful lockdowns that cost more blood and treasure than any virus would promptly end, and the nonsense around masks, Covid injections, or any other one-size-fits-all approach would quickly come to an end.

The bestselling book "Face Masks In One Lesson" by Allan Stevo describes how to never wear a face mask again. The follow-up to the book, "Face Masks Hurt Kids," describes why to never wear a face mask again. We must defeat the awful, narrative around the mandates.
Examples of how face masks hurt kids will be posted to the Lockdown Land Substack each morning by 6am Eastern until the narrative around this ineffective and harmful medical intervention has shifted. Face masks are, in fact, not just harmful to children. Face masks are harmful to everyone. Thank you so much for helping me circulate this research.
