Dear Reader,
The wearing of a face mask to protect against a respiratory virus is an act of grand deceit. It is a behavior that defies research on the topic. Wearing a face mask, as this article (one of many) points to — is unsafe to do and is ineffective.
Until the narrative around mandatory masking has changed, each day by 6am Eastern, I will both post here and send out a science-based reason why no one should wear a face mask.
I ask that you help me circulate these pieces to those around you who you believe could most benefit from them. It is important not to remain silent on this topic. These are important discussions to be having with friends, family members, business owners, healthcare practitioners, public servants, and others in the community.

You may not want to wear a face mask. That is, for some reason, not a permissible answer in the present milieu. It is the answer that should be most acceptable though, both from a rights perspective and from a medical perspective. In the United States, you are not to be forced to do that which you cannot do safely, unless you are harming someone else.
Therefore, the public health profession has created the lie that by you not listening to them, you cause harm to someone else. It is a foundational, anti-social canard from the public health field. They are always on the lookout for ways that you harm others, because that allows them to seize additional control. Seizing control has always been the prime agenda of the public health profession.
If you have an intestinal bug and shake the hand of another, he may get that bug. Yes, he may, if he does not wash his hands before eating. The public health industrial complex is forever finding excuses to build multi-million dollar and billion dollar government programs when the real answer is that those who do not want an intestinal condition need to wash their hands.
There is nothing collective about that. But, the public health profession, a fundamentally collectivist and very political profession — seeks these opportunities to chip away at individual freedom.
Public health is the very opposite of medicine.
Not wanting to do something is your right. Your medical concerns are your business. The medical concerns of another are that person’s business. The two do not have anything to do with the other.
If you do not want to wear a face mask, you do not have to wear a face mask. That is how Western society works. That is how life in a free country works. Those seeking to make any land less of a free country are welcome to utilize their passport and go elsewhere less free and convince people there to live under tyranny and the poverty that tyranny inevitably brings — an approach the public health community is internationally famous for.
This country, however, is quite satisfied with its very expansive concept of individual freedom based on the individual man, woman, and child being made in the likeness of God.
That takes hard work to secure and can make collectivists uncomfortable, but it is nonetheless work we free people do each and every day by living our free lives. Among these methods, are the constant refusal to wear the face mask under any circumstances.
There is a very powerful and important case to be made based on individual liberty for why no one should ever be forced to wear a face mask, and there is also a strong medical case to be made.
A medical approach you do not believe in, is an approach that will fail you. Some part of you must trust in the approach. Some part of you must believe in the possibility. There is medical utility in a patient’s approval of the approach. Belief in an approach is meaningful, trust in a doctor is meaningful, emotional investment in the appropriateness of the path forward is meaningful.
Placebos do work.
There is more than biology, chemistry, and pharmacology behind the effectiveness of a treatment. Room must be left for matters of psychology as well, and room must be left for matters of faith in the outcome.
Microscopic focus on his own self-interest, myopic focus on his own beliefs in what is right, can leave a doctor unable to recognize this and unable to effectively treat a patient who refuses to be a passive observer in his care, but instead seeking to be the most active participant.
Such a patient will not stand for answers like “You will take this approach because I say,” or “This is good for you, because I have a white coat.”
Some doctors do not possess the proper psychology to treat a thinking and insightful patient. They lack the basic philosophical ground to recognize the sanctity of the individual patient. They, likely, even lack the humbleness required of good bedside manner with a patient who is active in his own care.
As medicine increasingly moves away from one doctor and one patient, toward 20 or 30 person rotating care teams, the importance of the patient being active grows and the disinterest of a doctor in dealing with an active patient grows as well.
This approach to medicine encourages one-size-fits-all approaches, while it discourages individual treatment.
Yes, many doctors do not like the idea of you saying that a valid medical argument is “I do not want to wear a face mask, because I know it does not work,” but that is one of the most legitimate reasons you can possibly give.
Poorly trained in understanding a patient as a human, discouraged by training from doing so, disincentivized from doing so, it can be no surprise that doctors do not like your insistence of being treated as an individual human made in the likeness of God.1
The moment you realize you are dealing with such a doctor, is a great time to find a new doctor, a new hospital, a new way of looking at medical care.
You deserve no less, you wonderful being made in the likeness of God.

The bestselling book "Face Masks In One Lesson" by Allan Stevo describes how to never wear a face mask again. The follow-up to the book, "Face Masks Hurt Kids," describes why to never wear a face mask again. We must defeat the awful, narrative around the mandates.
Examples of how face masks hurt kids will be posted to the Lockdown Land Substack each morning by 6am Eastern until the narrative around this ineffective and harmful medical intervention has shifted. Face masks are, in fact, not just harmful to children. Face masks are harmful to everyone. Thank you so much for helping me circulate this research.
